Ramnath Sreeramula is an ambitious, creative and charismatic Author, Screenplay Writer, and Assistant Director in Telugu Film Industry, India. Currently, he is heading Creative Services at A4 Motion Pictures.

Ramnath holds a degree in Advertising & Marketing Management from Auckland University, New Zealand. In his early days, Ramnath worked as a recruitment lead with QuEST Global, Bengaluru. It was during the company’s CSR activity that he came up with a logo idea Disha which was appreciated by the senior management and used in subsequent promotions and campaigns.

His passion for creation and cinema helped him realize that his inclination was storytelling. Honoring his calling, Ramnath went on to pursue a part-time degree in filmmaking from FFVA (Flash Frame Visual Academy), Bengaluru. As a student, he gained experience in filmmaking while assisting a senior director in the academy.

He also directed Snapcart, a television commercial film that gained wide appreciation. 

This was followed by the Direction of the short film Lisa which is a gripping thriller about a young woman’s experience with spirit readings. While winning views from the fans of horror, mystery, and suspense, Lisa also won the Cineframe Appreciation and Best Actress Award in the Short Film segment by CISFFI, Kolkata in 2015. 

Ramnath was honored with a degree in filmmaking by Kamlesh Pandey, Scriptwriter of Rang De Basanti. 

Directing The Leader was an opportunity that gave him an outlet to expand his creative horizons. Through this movie, Ramnath navigates the complexities of the farming mafia in the country. He has been able to create a wholeness to his characters that draw you in, even when they are at their worst. Ramnath’s films showcase his technical abilities as well. His ability to win the audience is evident in everything from drama, to thriller and mystery, making him an exciting filmmaker to watch out for. 

His scripts are not just about the end but about the journey in between, where life lays buried under layers of human nature. Through his book The Red Clouds, he takes the readers into the world of supernaturals and secrets with his unique style of storytelling that only he can offer. 

Currently, he lives in Hyderabad with his family.
